Our Costa Rican coffee is a medium roast with a brighter kind of opulence, graceful in structure and quietly radiant in the cup. Sourced from micro farms in Alajuela, this single origin opens with notes of sweet apple, raisin, and honey, creating a profile that feels polished, delicate, and warmly inviting. The fruit moves through the cup with softness rather than sharpness, while the honeyed sweetness lingers just long enough to leave an impression of calm richness. It is a coffee of balance and poise, where every note feels placed with intention.

Grown between 1300 and 1445 meters in volcanic loam, and built from Caturra and Catuai varietals, this coffee carries both elegance and clarity. Its eco-pulped process and sun drying preserve the brightness of the fruit while allowing sweetness and structure to settle into a clean, refined finish. Our Costa Rican offers a more luminous side of Devil’s Lantern Coffee Co., one touched less by shadow than by golden light through old glass.
